Today I am going to explain the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process whereby green plants manufacture their own food. The recipe for glucose is sunlight, carbon dioxide, minerals, chlorophyll, and water. There are two transport vessels that we learned it was xylem and phloem. First I will explain xylem. The xylem function is to transfer the minerals and the water from the root to stem and then to the leaves. Phloem function is to absorb the recipe and make glucose.
